Wednesday night our new house was broken into through our back fence and back door. They stole all of Brett's and his Dad's tools, along with a borrowed paint sprayer and our new garage door opener system. I went over to the house and realized what had happened and immediately felt violated and angry. Remodeling a house on a tight budget, not being able to be in my own home and now this was the last straw. Yes, having all our expensive tools stolen sucks but it is more the feeling that someone was in MY house without my permission that really leaves me feeling anxious and very upset. Any ways this post is not about all that, the title says "Sam" and that's what I want to talk about. Sam is my little brother. He is the youngest of seven children and my mom had him when she was 40. Sam has severe learning disability's, yet no disabilities when it comes to serving others without question. Sam has a gift to cheer anyone up at anytime and knows and feels other peoples pain and heart ache better than anyone I have ever known. He is Christ like and well beyond his years when it comes to the pure love of Christ. Yesterday while cleaning my clients home I got a call from Sam telling me that he had gotten up with my dad at 5am to go work. He earned $10.00 an hour and had decided that he was going to give me his hard earned $36.00 (the other $4.00 was for tithing) I held the phone as tears fell from my tired and overwhelmed eyes. After a long silence I told Sam that I would not take his hard earned money and thanked him. Sam explained that he was doing service and wanted to give the money to Brett and I to help buy the tools we needed to finish our home. He insisted I take it. What a reminder of what is really important in this life. There are good people and good things going on, Sam helped me remember that in my time of need.

This is MY house!!! We are remodeling right now and cant wait till we can officially move in! So far ALL the tile is up (tile was in every single room) the kitchen is outta there, we tore out that weird wall and found the beautiful brick behind it!! We also knocked out a wall to open the kitchen up to the huge family room area! Our pool is swimmable and ready for summer, cut down a tree and will hopefully paint and put in our beautiful cupboards this week! We bought our appliances yesterday and spent 2 hours in home depot, 3 of those huge metal cart things and a pretty penny later we were out of there! Stay tuned for updates and be prepared to be amazed!!!

I stole a shirt from Target the other day.... Spacey much?? Yup! Heres the 411...

I went to Target right after Zumba on Tuesday night so I didn't have my diaper bag/purse so I was carrying my keys, phone and wallet in my hands. I shopped around for myself for a bit than went to the mens section and saw really cute mens shirts, picked one out and put it over my shoulder so I could carry my keys, phone, wallet, new shirt and a new skirt to buy. I than made my way over to the baby section shopped around for a bit and realized I lost the mens shirt somewhere along the way (or so I thought) I was to lazy to go get another one or go looking for the shirt that I thought I had left somewhere so I made my way up to the cashier checked out and started to drive home. More than halfway home I felt like my bra strap was falling off my shoulder so I went to grab it and pull it up but instead it was the mens shirt falling off my shoulder!!! I felt like such an idiot! I called Brett to tell him what I had done and turned around to return it. I went to guest services and said

"Hi I was just here and pretty much stole this shirt, I walked out with it on my shoulder and didn't notice it till I was driving home, so I'm just bringing it back."

The guy with a very confused look on his face said

"ok..... thanks for your honesty."

"Ya for sure."

(walked out as quickly as possible.)

For sure getting a cart next time.

Thursday November 18th I woke up around 10:30 and felt like just staying home all day, I had been on the move all week and was ready to just hang out. I was watching Harry Potter in bed around 12:30 when all of a sudden I felt a little wet, not a ton of water but enough to where it made me curious... I called my sister Bekah and told her I thought my water might have broke but was not sure because it didn't gush out of me like I thought it would, she assured me that it was my water and should call my Doctor. I called the Doctors office and they told me to go to the hospital. After that my water continued coming out in spurts, SUCH A WEIRD FEELING! I felt like I was just peeing myself and had no control over it! After finding out I needed to go to the hospital I called Brett at work and told him my water had broke and that we needed to head to the hospital, I thought he said he would leave in 3 minutes when really he said he would leave in 30 minutes because he was at lunch with co-workers and didn't have his car, apparently I didn't hear that part so I was expecting him home in 15! In the mean time I took a shower got everything in the car and continued peeing myself! Brett showed up 50 minutes later and by than I was a little anxious to get to the hospital! After checking in at the hospital and wetting their chair... (sorry Banner) we got sent to triage so they could check to make sure it really was my water, of course it was BUT all 30 post delivery rooms were full so no one could move out of their delivery rooms! Brett and I waited in triage until 5:30, I was having contractions, not painful and was dilated at a 3 still. Finally we got moved to our labor and delivery room and got started on patosin. I was than able to start feeling my contractions more and after a few hours decided it was time to get my epidural! After getting my epidural Brett and I were able to sleep a little, Brett got to sleep more than I did of course.... Around 10:30 the nurse came in and checked me, I was at a 6. I kind of slept for a few more hours when I started to feel super uncomfortable on my right side, I was feeling my contractions and was in a lot of pain only on my right side I looked at the screen and saw that my contractions were 100 and only going down to 80. I called the nurse in and told her I could feel my contractions on my right side, she put some more medicine in and checked me I was at 9! My blood pressure was high when I would lay on my back so I had to lay on my side, the nurse had to move my bed up and doing that made me nauseous, i started throwing up, just like the beginning of the pregnancy, I was miserable but knew it would all be over soon! The nausea passed for a little bit but than I started throwing up again, the nurse gave me some zofran and it passed. Throwing up was actually a blessing in disguise as it pushed my little Claire's head down to where we needed it to be. 4:00 I was at a 10 and was ready to start pushing. My first push you could see her head and ALL her hair! I could not believe it! It was amazing to see her head all ready! I pushed for 10 more minutes, they called Dr. Beck to come in, I pushed for 5 more minutes when she told me I couldn't push as hard! Are you serious?? This baby was coming out and not pushing was killer!! Dr. Beck got to the hospital in record time put his scrubs on and was ready to deliver, I pushed through 2 contractions and on the second one Claire was born at 4:47 a.m. It was amazing. When he held her up I saw my baby pictures, she was my little twin and absolutely perfect. 7lbs 3 ounces and 21 inches long. They handed her to me right away while Brett cut the cord, as soon as they gave her to me she stopped crying, that was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt, I was the one who was going to comfort her and loved that feeling. I held her in awe that this sweet little spirit was mine forever. I had a rough pregnancy but it was all worth it in the end. I am so grateful she is here, she is healthy and she is mine forever.

I have had this very large canvas since before I found out I was pregnant with Claire, I had other plans for it, did it, hated it and took it apart... so yesterday I finally made great use of it. My sister and I stamped this lovely quote on it and made it ready to hang in baby Claire's room. I was looking for a quote to put on it and this one was the only one that seemed right to put on it. I want to teach Claire from a young age what is truly important in life. I LOVE how it turned out. I think she will too. :-)

As you know I have made a ton of flowers for Claire so obviously I needed a place to put them all, so with two kinds of ribbon, an old thrift store frame and a staple gun I came up with this little number to display her pretty accessories.

I have been looking at artwork on Deseret Book. com and have found some beautiful pictures of Christ with children, well I went to the store to get some and they didn't have any of the ones I had seen online BUT they had just one print of this one. I had never seen it before and am pretty sure it was made for my Claire's bedroom. I get teary eyed just looking at it.

A friend gave me a lamp to re-do. She knew I loved a fun project. It had a different shade on it and I couldn't really salvage it so I went to Goodwill and picked this one up, it was originally tan colored so I painted it, added some fringe and waalaaaa!! Perfection! I love free stuff! Well I have some very big news. Brett and I have been doing the whole house hunt for quite sometime and found out last week the bank accepted our offer. We are in the process of closing right now so hopefully it all works out! So I will now have a room to put all this stuff in for Claire! Can't wait! 32 weeks and counting!!

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow it's been so long since I have really blogged about something! so here it goes... I finished my internship at Fennemore Craig and miss it terribly. I worked with the BEST people! They threw me a baby shower on my last Friday and I got some way cute stuff! Any ways, since then I have been doing a few crafts all for my little girl Claire, above are some diaper wipe cases I made for my diaper bag, I'm keeping the black one and giving the red one away. So easy and so cute!

Below are some belts for my belly!! My sister in law Miranda and her sister made these so I had to join in! Thanks Myla and Miranda! Oh and my wonderful Mother and Aunt Julie for all the fabric!!!

Baby room

I was told yesterday that I need to update my blog more.... so I'm going to try. But honestly I just don't have anything super exciting to blog about! But I shall try. So now that we are having a baby girl I can really start to plan her room. I am going to do a Juicy Couture store inspired room. In Hawaii we went into Juicy and Brett and I were both amazed at how cool and different the decor was. Obviously it wont be as outrageous as some of the decor they have but somewhat along those lines. Since I love thrift store shopping and can find tons of stuff to redo and make juicy couture looking it will work out nicely on our budget and be freakin awesome! Here is some of the treasure that Brett will have to spray paint for me. Sad I love spray painting.Is that clock awesome or what??!!! Honestly that's what started the whole Juicy Couture idea. I found that at Mesa thrift and almost squealed when I saw it! It was meant to be! I'll put a new backing on it and paint it some awesome color! I cant wait! I cant decide on white or black furniture but I'm leaning more towards black because I already have that dresser I re-did that would be a perfect changing table and has tons of dresser room. Target has some awesome cribs online so we shall see. Well here is a picture of baby Claire and I at 18 weeks and 2 days! Oh ya were naming her Claire, no middle name yet but it will come.

So..... of course my baby was in the worst possible position to tell the sex, but Dr. Beck got it to move around for just enough time to see that it's a girl! Her little bum was facing us high up in the air and she was pretty stubborn about moving so we will double check in a month but Brett and I are pretty positive its a little baby girl! Were so excited!!!! Brett might have to start canceling my bank cards but we cant wait!!!!

I got a job!

As some of you know, I kind of quit/got fired from my last job (wells fargo) and have been jobless since the end of April. It actually worked out great because I was super sick and didn't want to do anything any ways... well now that im feeling better I'm just getting bored... Well good news!! Earlier this week my dad sent me a link to a summer internship at Fennemore Craig P.C. I sent my resume, got a phone interview yesterday and got offered the job today!!!! I'll be working 40 hours a week and am excited to be doing something again!! I'll just be doing filing but it's one of the most prestigious law firms in AZ so I'm pleased to be working there! Brett also had an interview this week and it went very well! We will find out in the next few days to see if he got the job! Prayers are answered!

So since I found out I am pregnant I have been sick. On Monday I had to take a little trip to the hospital for dehydration due to me not being able to keep anything down. Once they stuck that I.V. in me though I felt better than I had the entire week. One good thing from the visit was I had to have an ultra sound, I got to see my little baby and see its little heart beat. I found out I am due November 26th (black Friday) could it be more appropriate??!!! I love shopping especially Black Friday! I go shopping every year early early early!!! Guess I wont be doing that this year. So today I am officially seven weeks. The doctor put me on Zofran and it is pretty much making living possible. I have not thrown up since but my stomach never feels quite normal. It also make me drowsy so when I'm done with work all I want to do is lay on my couch or go to sleep, I have not been to a store in 2 whole weeks!! That is a new record! And all I want to eat is fast food, the thought of preparing food doesn't sit real well with my stomach. I know all this will go away in a few weeks or months but I sure wish it would go away now!!! Good thing I have the best husband who serves me and takes care of me constantly! He is so sweet and tries to understand what I'm going through. He's a keeper.

Yep, My eggo is preggo! Found out Sunday after waking up from a nap and feeling extra crappy. Took a pregnancy test, and well the rest is history! It's funny cause just a few weeks ago, when I would have been only a week or two I went to a bunko night with my sister and the theme was come as you would be in 2015. We both went as a pregnant ladies because in 5 years we figured we would be having kids, little did I know that I really was pregnant! Brett and I are really excited, and feel so blessed. I'm already feeling sick and throwing up which is NOT COOL AT ALL but I'll deal with it! Here is a little sneak peek of what I'll look like in no time at all!

Wow its been so long! Everythime I think about blogging i shove it away casue I have other things I could be doing and just dont have the time! working at wells fargo and school pretty much consume me. Well im going to update really quick than get back to my long list of things to do on my day off!

February- Had a wonderful valentines day filled with suprise dinner from brett after church and my beautiful necklace from Lisa leonard desings! dont have a pic. bummer. Brett seriously is the best he had my sister come to our house set up oreganos and a beautiful table so when we came home from church our house smelt delicious and everyting was ready! totally suprised! oh ya we moved in to a ouse temporarily! its beautiful and i love that we only have to pay electric! The house is on short sale so were living in it so it doesnt get broken into or anything! we are so blessed! I have been bust decoratin it and making it our temporary home!

I also celebrated my 21st birthday! Brett again suprised me with a gondola ride, dinner and a suprise party with my closegirl friends and family. it was awesome. My sister sarah also got me MICHAEL BUBLE tickets!!!CANT. WAIT.

March- still in school and working, Brett and I bought tickets to HAWAII for our honeymoon/1 year wedding anniversry! we leave MAY 21st!! So excited!

Ran another half marathon today with the sisters.
I improved my time by 11 minutes.
I'm sore:-(
The run was awesome though. It was London's Run. London was a little girl who died of cancer. Runners gathered today to run in her honor. I might have cried a time or two.
Along the run they had signs of other kids with cancer that said,
"Don't give up"
"Running is easy, cancer is hard"
"Don't stop"
"Keep fighting."

Yuma Marathon and Half Marathon 2010

My Grandpa Reg died this past September and while the family was in town we had this idea to all run a marathon and half marathon in January (his birthday) to honor him. The run was in Yuma where my aunt johnell and uncle dan live. It was Yumas 1st marathon and it was AWESOME! Family came from Mesa, California and Washington to run or just show support. It was an amazing experience running with my sisters, aunts, uncles dad and cousins. Along the run my aunts both told stories I had never heard about my grandpa Reg. He was truly a life saver. He was the starter of the LDS acholics anonymous program called A.D.A.M. He saved countless lifes and was a recovering acholic himself. By his example other people found hope and decided to come clean. I felt so blessed to be able to be with family and come together to do this together in honor of our grandpa, Dad, friend and example. My dad, unlce Dan and our friend brian sharp all ran the full marathon! My two sisters sarah and bekah, my 2 aunts, pam and johnell, cousins kevin and matt, uncle steven and myself all ran the half marathon. It was so awesome! I have never been a runner! the most i ever ran before trainig for this was seriously 2 miles but I can now say I am a half marathon runner! I ran 13 miles yesterday!! It is such a feeling of accomplishment. I never thought I would do something like this. My time was 2 hours, 45 minutes and 59 seconds! Under 3 hours. I ran the whole thing and made my goal. Thanks to my sister bekah and aunt johnell I didnt have to finish alone and they helped push me along and believe in myself. I am so greatful for my family and am so proud of eveyone who ran!! WE KILLED IT!!!! Now on to the next run!!!!

Disneyland this year is doing something soo cool! Give a day, get a day! Go online and register to do some sort of service and they will send you a free ticket! Brett and I made fleece blankets for Project Linus. It was super easy and super fun. We should be getting our tickets within the next 2 weeks! Cant beat a free day at Disneyland! Go do some service!

Wow its been a long time. Where to start? Well real quick, Christmas was great! Love having 2 families! Here are the Randall girls on Christmas eve in our jammies. Brett loved his Dewalt tool set and I have already had him put them to good use with what you will see below....
This week I have been going crazy with painting and sanding! Brett and I are house sitting starting the beginning of February to who knows when so I have been picking up some old furniture at thrift stores and making them Emily approved. I have had the bench forever but never painted or put fabric on it, now I had a reason to so I painted it black and Brett and I picked out the fabric and reupholstered it. Its fab I know. The little end table, oh don't worry it was 5 bucks, it use to be forest green... real nice, but I had my own idea and painted it the same color and moj pojed scrap book paper on top, I like it. Oh and that book... THE BEST!
Here is Brett doin work son! He is amazing and I love that we were able to do it all together! This is him cutting base boards for our dresser, what I am madly in love with right now...
Found this beauty at Mesa Thrift for..... 14 bucks! Holla! ya it is so nast and smelt like pee pee but when I saw it, it was love at first site! I called Brett and had him come look at itI than convinced him I had a vision and could make it B-E-A-UTIFUL! He believed in me!
Notice the very bottom of it, up close you can see it had some water damage and was just nasty so I had the bright idea of buying pretty baseboard and wrapping it around the whole thing to hide the ugly mess! Brett made perfect beautiful cuts and nailed them in for me than I started my job of painting, first primed it becasue its not even real wood really, it has like plastic wrapping around it, not the most fun to paint but who cares its beautiful now!
Now check out the bottom if it! So sick huh??!?!! Brett and I love it!
And the finsished product!!! Its beautiful!! We will use it as a T.V. stand and today at Mesa thrift we found a coffee table that started out just as ugly but now painted black is lovely and looks like it was meant for this piece! Sorry no pics, its drying as I type, nut it has the same cool design on the top of it that this has on the front! PERFECT!
On another note I got a job at Wells Fargo!! yay!! I will also be starting school on Tuesday with some pretty tough and no fun classes... ugh! Brett is studying for the LSAT and will be taking that on February 7th. Saturday the 23rd I will be running a half marathon in Yuma with my family in honor of my Grandpa Reg who passed away this past year. I'm nervous and excited to have it over with! Hopefully I wont be crawling by the end of it! And last but not least our spread in Arizona Bride Spring Summer issue is now in stores, and well, we look gahood!! Just kidding, but seriously.... any who were excited for all the new changes and things coming our way!

Disneyland!

As you know Brett and I were both sick for like a week and a half so on Thursday Brett suggested we go to Disneyland.... so we did! We drove up Thursday went all day Friday and drove home Saturday. A much need vacation and Disneyland is magical at Christmas time!

It's been awhile since I have posted so I decided that while looking and feeling like this it was the least I could do. If your feeling bad about yourself feel free to laugh and laugh and laugh at this picture. I'm pretty sure I have swine flu. My body aches all over, I have a fever, my nose is running like a waterfall and my ears are clogged. I have no energy and take at least 3 hot showers a day. Awesome. I just showed Brett the 2 pictures I was putting on here and he advised against it... so ya enjoy it while it lasts, you wont ever see me looking like this again!

This is where I have been the past two and a half days and some of the things keeping me alive.

On another note earlier this week when I was not on my death bed I made this.. I'm in love, its a magnet board that will be hung in my house someday. The frame use to be gold. I got it at D.I. like 2 years ago and have always wanted to do something cool with it. Finally!!! Brett cut the metal for me but I still somehow managed to cut my finger even without scissors or the responsibility of cutting it. Yep. Thanks babe. Oh and I got the dang cute magnets and tins at Michaels in the dollar section!

I am happy to say that I have been busy the past 2 weeks!!! And not with crafts! I'm working now! I am back to door to door sales selling DISH Network but I really like it. I can make really great money and work when I want. I have been doing really well and am excited to have an income again!! So if you want DISH I am the girl to talk to!!

Also last week I was able to give Laura her Bridal shower. I think it was beautiful and had so much fun throwing it. I made my favorite fall treat, pumpkin cupcakes!! yummiest frosting eva!! here are a few pics.

This past Saturday I was invited to schnepf Farms out in Queen Creek with my older sister Sarah and younger brother and sister Annie and Sam. It is tradition for Sarah to take them every year so I was excited to be invited! Here a few things we did while on the Farm!

Wedding madness!!

So on Thursday Brett and I attended a wedding at ValVista Lakes. As I was sitting waiting for the ceremony to start I couldnt help but remember and reflect on my wedding day. A miracle truly happened on my wedding day. I had been sick all week long with a cold, runny nose, headache, itchy eyes, just bad news. The night before I recieved a blessing from my Dad and wha-la! My wedding day I was just fine, my nose stopped running, no itchy eyes, no headache for the entire day! So blessed! The next day however I was back to my sick self by 7:00 pm and Brett had to baby me and just let me go to sleep after getting to our hotel room. It was truly a miracle that on my wedding day I was fine and after all of it was over I was sick again! I'm so grateful for the health and strength I was given for that special day and know it was no coinsidence.

Also while sitting there and seeing the large lake and swimming pool around us I thought, Dude if I was not a member and just got married wherever, how sick would a wedding in a pool be??!!! Bride in a white swim suit, groom in pinstripped boardshorts and everyone else just chillin in the pool, you know just like a normal wedding but in a pool. I though it would be pretty insane! Definatly a first! I shared my thoughts with Brett and he laughed, but I could tell he was imagining how cool that would be!!! So those were my thoughts as I attended this wedding.

What I do in my free time... which is everyday. Someday I will be busy again..

So I always forget to take before pictures of my projects but here is a serving tray I saved from the thrift store. Imagine it forest green with a fruit basket on the eating part... real cute. I just spray painted it and moj poged my cut outs on to it. I love it. Some day Brett will serve me breakfast in bed with it. Someday.
Also this frame was gold and cream, not bad I just wanted it black. Dont know what im going to do with it yet. I just love the detail in it. I have a thing for old frames. I also spray painted a shelf I found at the thrift store, not very exciting until its being used. Right now its just sitting in my "wedding room" all my stuff I cant use until I have my own house... some day!

I cant sleep.

Tonight I found out I didnt get a job I interviewed for last week.

I didnt really tell alot of people about it because in case I didnt get it I didnt want everyone to know I failed. Honestly I just feel embarrassed, I dont know why, thats just the way my mind works sometimes.

I even cancelled a trip to Hawaii because I thought for sure I had it. Wow. Rough.

Now I'm writing about it with hope that it will make me feel better.

I hate failing.

It's not even that I didnt get the job, it's the fact that I know im qualified and would be a great asset to the company and I didnt get chosen because of one interview.

I hate the feeling of not knowing what to do with my career choice. I want to be back in school but I just dont know what to do. I want to have a degree where I can make money, not just get a degree and never use it once I start having kids.

I just looked at programs and honestly I am lost.

I dont have ANY idea what I want to do or what my Heavenly Father wants me to do.

I went and talked to my Dad after finding out I didnt get the job and he helped me remember that everything does happen for a reason and not getting this job is not the end of the world.

I know everything will work out, I just wish it would happen faster.

I cant sit at home much longer!!!!

You can only make so many pumpkins and re-do so many thrift store finds!!!

I just need something!

Since I have been home from a long summer in NC I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I fasted yesterday for some guidence and direction to where I should start since I have been somewhat woried about what I want to do. Today at a family BBQ without even saying anything my Dad brought up what I was thinking about doing school and work wise. He is so wise. Talking to my dad and also my sister reminded me that I have lots of options and am not going to figure it all out in a week.... I sure wish I could though....

Question... Anyone happen to be an ultrasound technician who reads my blog or knows one that would be willing to talk to me for a few minutes?? Lemme know!

We have been home for a week and 2 days now! Dont really know what to do with myself but I kind of LOVE that feeling! This past weekend was Brett's Granny and Papa's 60th anniversary! Yep you heard, 60 years! The whole weekend was one big party in honor of them. Friday night all the adults went to Tia Rosas and enjoyed some yummy mexican food and homemade ice cream! Saturday, everyone came over for a huge water party in the Randalls backyard. Huge water slides, pools, Dj and yummmmmyyyy food!

Kind of proud of myself becasue this was my 1st sewing project ever! Thats why some look a little deformed but hello are any pumpkins perfect? Nope. So I am excited to learn more about sewing so my Mom doesnt have to coach me to make sure i dont hurt myself... but i did anyways.... dont ask. Any who hopfully things will pick up aroud here soon with work and me deciding what I really want to do, but for now I'm getting ready to celebrate Bretts 26th Birthday tomorrow! Were home!!! I couldn't be happier!!! We came home a week early due to my Grandpa's condition. I spent the day unpacking and getting our room all set up at Brett's parents house. I than went and got my toes done with my two best friends and spent time with my niece's and nephew in the pool and watching Peter Pan. I missed home so much and I am so happy to be back with friends and family! Were so blessed!

Arizona Bride Magazine!!

So tonight while in bed I got a call form an Arizona number, answered it and it was a lady from Arizona Bride Magazine, when she said that I thought she was calling to ask if I had bought a dress yet or something but she so was not!! Our wonderful photographer entered 3 of her clients pictures for a spread in the magazine and they picked Brett and I!!!! She was calling me to get info on the wedding so she could write her 150 words on our 1 page spread!!!! So cool right??!!! So I cant show you all the spread cause it does not come out till Spring but its so awesome!!! Pictures of our cake, the decorations, Brett and I, Myself in the dress and my beautiful bridesmaids!!! I gave her info on the flowers, dress, cake and how we got engaged and stuff!! So I think it comes out in January so be sure and pick up that issue!!!!!

So I was given a 180.00 Visa card for a past incentive, after activating it online I found out that on august 24th they would charge me a 3.00 service charge! LAME!! So obviously I had to spend it now! So yesterday after work I went shopping and spent it ALL! Here's what I came back with!

1st I ordered the cute swimsuit that you all saw on my past post. Checking the mail daily to see if it's here yet!!

2nd I bought my Mom a Saweet Birthday present, sorry cant show ya....

3rd These cute jeans and a few shirts!

4th Black boots, I have been wanting a pair of flat black ones, I always see girls sportin them and they look so cute, I'm gonna try them out! Hope they are as cute as I think they could be!
5th This way cute Glass calender thingy!! Didn't have a price tag on it so I took it up and they gave it to me for 7.99!! Holla at your girl TJ MAX!

Harry Potter Marathon

Since 11 o'clock this morning I have been watching Harry Potter. Brett and I have had a lot of movie marathons lately, we have watched all our movies which is about 60 or so. We have had a Bourne Identity Marathon, an Office Marathon and an X-Men marathon. Last night we went to Wal-Mart and Bought Harry Potter 1-5 for 9 bucks each! SAWEET. I'm a nerd. So with all these marathons going on it got me thinking maybe when I get home I'll start running real marathons....

SEPTEMBER 4TH IS THE DAY

Were coming home September 4th and were staying home! Originally the plan was to fly down for Granny and Papa's 60th and fly back the 7th, than drive home the 12th... made no sense so were flying home on the 4th for good! yay!!
Why I need to come home...
1. I have been bit by little dogs not once, not twice but yesterday made it 3 TIMES!
2. I need to work out again! Dad when I get home... me. you. ww track. Be there.
3. I'm sick of not being able to cook normal food, no more boxed pizza!!
4. I cant wait to get home and craft again, I miss making my head bands and redoing old thrift store stuff!
5. My nieces and nephews need me!! (or I need them)
6. I need my girl friends back, I'm around boys 24/7!!!
7. I need the dry heat, no more of this 88% humidity everyday! No Way!
8. Kind of need to find a job when I get back... any ideas?
9. Must address and send all the thank you cards from our wedding!!!!!
10. Mosquitoes anyone? No one knows what real bugs are like until they come to the south!
11. And most of all, I just miss our family and friends! I need some familiar faces!

Tonight after coming home from work i went into the bathroom all ready to hop in the shower when I went up to grab something at the sink and a freakin cockroach came running out from behind my electric tooth brush stand! I ran out of the bathroom screaming and Brett was like "what is going on?" I don't even remember what was said cause my heart was beating sooo fast. Mind you I was "ready" for the shower and ran out and jumped on the couch and hid behind a pillow like a child.
Brett went in the bathroom and killed it.
I than called Phil, our Boss and said "I have a cockroach in my apartment," he said "how many did you see?" I said "ONE" He is sending a technician to our apartment first thing in the morning.

Yay for Brett!! The past 2 weeks our office had an incentive going on where we got different prizes depending on how much we sold. Brett and I both got our top incentive and got to choose from a number of differnt things. Brett chose an xbox360 even though that now makes 3 xboxes!!! and I chose a gift certificate.

Also we got another package in the mail, we got our insurance cards and SWEET CAKES!!! From Bretts to sweet mom Lisa!! Thanks mama!! It made our day!! Its so funny that she would send that cause literally i was thinking... well dreaming about being back at home and eating sweet cakes!!! So amazing!

On another note...one that i am not very proud of... i hit some trash cans today and shattered the passenger side mirror. I felt like such an idiot. I was driving and looking at a map page when BAM i was swerving and next think i knew i had no mirror. I called Brett and told him and quite honestly laughed a little about it cause i couldnt believe what I had done! Oh well, Thank good ness for an Uncle who can get us a new mirror for cheap!

Saturday Night in North Carolina

Saturday is a great day here in NC. Know why? Cause we get to sleep in the next day and don't have to knock doors!! YAYAA!! So earlier this week Brett and I bought a bunch of chicken and some sauce to grill. We invited Jen and Brian over (Jen is my only girl friend here!) and we grilled chicken and steamed asparagus! Yummy! We than went to Barnes and Noble to hang out before our movie started... ya were cool, hangin out an B&N on a Saturday night!! Whoop Whoop!

We than went to an ice cream place called Maggie Moos Ice Cream, its exactly like cold stone but more colorful and fun! Best thing about it... the dude gave Brett and I our ice cream for FREE!!!! No reason besides that fact that were AWESOME! We than went to our movie and topped it off with sleeping in till eleven today!! Great weekend!

For the past week I have been trying to think of something to blog and update about... the truth is... THERE IS NOTHING TO BLOG OR UPDATE ABOUT WHEN YOU AND HUSBAND ARE SELLING PEST CONTROL 9 HOURS A DAY!! So my face does all the explaining on how I'm feeling half way through our looooonnnnnggggg summer far from home in NC.

Also I'm sure you can all tell that I have "let myself go in a way" by the awesome picture... I wear no make up, don't brush or do my hair (I do shower daily) because all I do is talk to strange people all day who could care less how I look. I am so looking foreword to coming home in September and wearing normal clothes everyday and dressing myself up again! I miss it dearly!

Brett and I are both doing well we miss and want to come home but are working hard while were here. We will be visiting home September 4th for Granny and Papa's 60th!! CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE FAM-DAMILY!!!

This weekend we all went to Wilmington (yes, where one tree hill is filmed) and we went to the beach! It was sooo fun!!! The water is a little warmer than the west coast which was just perfect!! We spent the entire day laying out, swimming in the ocean and chillin with friends! That night we all went to Carabbas which was delicious and fell asleep pretty quickly after getting some serious sun exposure! Brett got so burnt... poor Brett:-(

So yesterday I called my Mom and was telling her about my horrible day when she asked me if I had gotten anything in the mail. I said I had not checked it since Sunday, she told me to check it when i got home cause a package was being sent, I asked her who sent it and she said she could not tell me, than being the sweet and innocent person she is she said "who is the most generous in our family?" I immediately knew it was from my oldest sister Sarah. Sarah is the nicest most giving person I have ever known, she would literally give me the shirt off her back if I asked for it. There have been so many times when I have had a bad day or been going through a rough time and Sarah has been there with a lunch date or a sweet gift. SHE IS THE BEST!

So back to the package, Today we were finally able to go pick it up at out complex office I went there thinking it was just going to be a normal little package but no it was a huge box, my face was glowing when i walked back out to the car to meet Brett, he even commented on how happy i looked!! Hello its mail!!! Of course I get overly excited!!! So we get home and we open it and what is inside???? 4TH OR JULY STUFF!!! Decorations, bubbles, Old Navy 4th of July shirts, my favorite candy, 4th of July cups and straws, nerf guns, chalk (which I had just told Brett I wanted to do!!) and of course the greatest 4th of July movie... SANDLOT!!!! LOVE IT!!! I made Brett put his shirt on right than with me and I have been wearing it ever since!!
So Sarah Thank you so much for thinking and missing us enough to send this sweet package! You are the greatest example to me and hope some day I can be as kind, positive, giving, selfless and sweet as you are. I am seriously amazed at your amazingness!!! (No its not a word, I made it up!!) We love and miss you tons, thanks for sending a piece of home to us, it helped a lot.

Diving For Dollars

So for the past 2 weeks we have been working towards this incentive. For every sale we got serviced throughout the two weeks we got 10 seconds. The time added up was the time you got to spend in the pool diving for quarters and dollar coins. There was 200.oo worth of coins. I came in second place with having the most time and got 48.00, Brett got 32.00 in half my time! He is the best! So we got 80.00 together! Not bad and it was way fun! We think that is going to be our "Angus Barn" money. Angus Barn is a restuaraunt here that is pretty much and land mark and way expensive!! But everyone here loves it. So I think were going to use it to treat our selves to some good hearty stakes!!! (Please ignore my ugliness in this photo)

One Month

Today is Brett and I's 1 month anniversary!! Cant believe a whole month has gone by! Married and out the door to North Carolina! We are so happy and love life together. The other night after watching "he's just not that into you" we decided to tell each other why we feel in love with each other. I told brett"everything" and honestly I'm not just saying that I love everything about him. I guess the main thing that made me fall in love with him was the way he treated and respected me. I never felt like he was judging or looking down on me and that's how I knew he loved me. Brett is so real and i love that about him. Brett said he fell in love with me because he knew how much I cared for him. I'm glad that came through in my actions becasue I love Brett more than anything and only wanted and still want only the best for him. Brett is my best friend, the shoulder I cry on after a long hard day, the person that makes me laugh and my biggest supporter. Thank you for all the sweet texts from friends and family today wishing Brett and I a happy 1 month, may not seem like alot but it's special and meant alot to me. I felt so loved! Every day I check blogs and see who has updated, I get excited when anyone does but especially when my good friend Carla updates her's. She has such a way of writing and inspiring others. I always leave her blog with a new understanding of something or just a feeling of being lifted as I read her blog. Everyone who reads my blog should check Her out as I'm sure the same feelings will be left with you. Today after reading Carla's blog about keeping your options open and grasping whatever comes your way it got me thinking about my own life and things I have let happen or need to happen. Some times i have control over them sometimes I don't, either way i hope to master keeping my options open and moving along with change. This week in NC so far it has been rainy and gloomy since Monday, makes for a great day of cuddling up on a couch and reading a great book but since that's not an option for me I have to trudge along and sell come rain or come shine. I cant control the weather but I can control my attitude about it and by doing so I have been successful even through the rain. As Elle Woods would say, "Snaps for Emily!"
On another note concerning keeping our options open I decided that Europe is gonna have to wait to see me. The more I thought about it the less excited I got. I figure by the end of September I'm going to just want to come home and relax, not backpack Europe for 3 weeks! So insted of Europe, Hawaii is one of our options, Again were keeping our options open.
In closing I just want to say that the best things in life have come to me by keeping my options open and accepting lifes little gifts and changes as they come. Never in a million years did I think I would start dating Brett this past February and be married in May! Brett is such a blessing to me and I am so grateful Heavenly Father knows a little... well a lot more than us. Brett and I continue to do well in sales and of course miss eveyone back home. Love you all!

CAMPING

This past Saturday the Moxie crew all went camping. I got Brett and I out of the sleeping over part by saying it was to humid and hot for me to sleep outside (because it totally was) but any ways Brett and I stayed till late and than slept in the comfort of our own soft bed while everyone else roughed it out and came home with sore bodies. Suckas! So the part we stayed for was fun though Brett is genius and went and bought a wiffle ball and bat and we had the best time playing. Thanks Brett for bringing the entertainment!! We cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and just chilled with the team it was a good time and the woods are of course always beautiful. I brought Bretts camera which doesnt have a cord for the computer so sorry there are no pictures hopefully my friend Jen will be able to put some on her blog soon!! Also on another note Brett and I think we are going to Europe after we are done selling this summer!!! We figure we should go now while we have money, time, our young bodies and no kids runnin around!! So we will see, we have to keep selling well!! Well we love and miss you!

fathers day craft, dad dont look at this blog please!!!

So today is Sunday and I was so bored so of course I was blogging and I came across a blog that had ideas for fathers day, so I decided to put something together for my Dad. It's so easy and I know my Dad will love it because the only thing he would ever say he wanted for Fathers Day is "happy kids" so I put this little craft together, all you do is decorate a little box and write reasons you love your dad on paper and stick them inside. Its homemade and for most dads those are the best gifts. Mine could be a lot cuter if I had more stuff to work with but Jer-bear's gonna love it! I LOVE MY DAD!!

THE little THINGS

After reading mama Carla's Blog about all the little things she is grateful for I decided that staying positive and remembering the things I am grateful for is HUGE while I am out here.... so here I go. Just yesterday while out walking around climbing up hills to peoples doors I started getting a little negative but than I said to myself "what is something good about this?" "Exercise, I'm getting free and hard exercise all day long!" I laughed and from than on I started selling again. It's amazing how the little things can really change things around. Out here in NC its like I am in the mountains everyday, there are beautiful trees everywhere and its so green. I love it. I am so grateful for my family, now my two families! They are both so much fun and Brett and I are truly blessed. They both helped out so much with the wedding and continue to help us out. I am grateful for my friends. I have the greatest and most real friends. We can go sit on the west wood baseball field for hours just talking, eating candy and drinking our energy drinks and enjoying every second of it. I love the simple times with my girl friends, I'll always remember them. I am grateful for our free internet service here in our apartment cause than I can blog... I'm grateful for warm showers after a long day of walking, a soft comfy bed to rest in and of course my husband Brett who supports me daily and loves me! Thinking of just a few of the things I am grateful for really has put me in a great mood. It's so important to remember the little things because they make a huge difference.! Try it out!

We missed church on Sunday so we decided to go check out the Temple. Its so small compared to Mesa. You have to make appointment to go but like all Temples, it is beautiful. Here are a few pics.

Hello hello I finally had some time where I could take a few pictures of our life here in NC. 1st picture- my new cool shoes. Walking around all day makes my feet hurt so bad, I tried sandals, but the flatness of them hurt my feet, I tried my running shoes but they hurt and smashed my toes... so today I went and bought these cute things. Picture #2 I have sweet blood as Brett would say and have already been bitten 17 times on my two legs!!! Oh did I mention that I got one on my forehead? Didnt think that was possible! #3 This is Brett on our lunch break, after a little nap it's off to play star wars video games..... ya Star Wars! Moving on, the last pic is of our way cute apartments!! So cute right? It gives ya a little taste of how the homes around here look, they are beautiful, no stucco, its all brick with cute metal siding and amazing porches and columns!! Every house is different and so beautiful. Well thats all i had time for. Also Brett got 4 his 2nd day of selling and 4 the next day as well!!! AMAZING!!! Hope all is well back home!

I love Brett. It's been a full week that we have been married and everyday I love him more and more. Yesterday was a rough day for me, as I worked sooo hard and only could pull out one sale to an old guy who probably only bought cause he was lonely and wanted to talk. So about 9:00 when it FINALLY got dark here I sat on the curb and started sobbing, I called my best friends Kim and Jadey and talked to each of them, I than called my Dad and we talked and I told him about my horrible day, he than asked how married life was and that was the only thing that kept me happy and calm while on the phone with him. I love Brett so much and appreciate all he does for me. My dad probably thought I was the biggest weirdo when i started crying just telling him how much I love and appreciate Brett and how worried I was about his first day selling! So than I got home and Brett was waiting for me, he could see I had been crying and on top of that I am still sick after two weeks, so I looked like a hot mess, took me in his arms and asked me what happened. Brett has such a way of making everything bad in the day go away and brings out the good in it. He was still so proud that I had got a sale and held and talked me through my pain. He had cinnamon rolls in the oven which makes anyone happy and coming home to him just made me realize how blessed I am to have him here with me everyday. Wow it must be the birth control because I am emotional! I'm crying my eyes out just writing this!! So any ways I miss everyone terribly and wish I could be home but I am so grateful for my Brett and our Heavenly Father who truly knows us and loves us.

We made it!!!

Hey Ya'll!!! Our summer adventure has officially started!! WE MADE IT TO NORTH CAROLINA!!! 31 hours later and were here!! It is BEAUTIFUL!! Trees are everywhere, peoples homes are dreamy and everything is green!!! It's humid but not hot like AZ. We got in on Sunday and got our apartment settled, which is so awesome by the way and around so much awesome stuff!! Today Brett stayed in and trained while I went out and brought home the bacon with 3 sales. People are really nice here and some have some awesome accents! Brett on the way over here actually started talking with an accent when we were at a drive through.... it was something else. Well just wanted to updat everyone and let ya know were safe and sound and loving being together!! Everyone pray for Brett that he will do awesome tomorrow!!! Love you!!!

Well everything is pretty much done for the wedding! I cant believe it! Invitations, dress, Temple booked, Wright house booked, photographer picked, hair appointments set!! So exciting! Thanks to everyone who has helped put this thing together thus far!!

For mine and Bretts summer adventure we are trying to figure out if we are going to buy a car or just drive his brothers truck to North Carolina, were also deciding when to leave, right now it's looking like its going to be the day after our wedding.... CRAZY right? Oh well. We can do it!!

Trends, we have all been a part of these wonderful things, for me it was bright silver eye shadow and tiny ponytails on top of my head, (oh wait that was not a trend, that was me thinking it was cool and no one telling me it was fugly!) Well any who Brett and I decided to start a new trend and start a blog.... I dont know if you can handle this... BEFORE were married!!
